Misconception About 5 ply & 7 Ply Tanks
A popular misconception is that the number of layers in a tank directly correlates with its thickness and insulation performance, but trust us, this isn’t the case. All tanks available in the market, regardless of any brand are about 5mm thick and made entirely of plastic. Simply increasing number of plies from 2 ply to 7 ply without adding any thickness or insulation material does not add any insulation effect. Therefore, these tanks when subjected to harsh weather, resulted in uncomfortably hot water in summer and too cold water in winter.
Existing Solution for Water Temperature Control
The true key to effective insulation is using appropriate insulating materials that can prevent water from becoming too hot or too cold in extreme weather conditions. One common solution is to use water tank jackets to help regulate temperatures throughout the year. These jackets effectively maintain water temperature, offering an efficiency range of 50% to 80%, depending on their thickness. However, these jackets typically lasted only 6 months to 2 years depending upon the type of material and quality of the material due to their exposure to harsh weather conditions. Therefore, water tank jacket is not a permanent solution to solve this problem.

The construction of InsuTank is based on innovative multiple layers with each layer having its own significance to ensure highest standards of hygiene, durability and temperature control.
Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE): The inner food grade water storage shell made from 100% food grade LDPE helps to store the water in hygienic conditions.
Thermal Insulation Layers: EPS insulation sandwiched between the inner and outer shells Specifically engineered to minimize heat transfer, maximizing efficiency.
Fiberglass Outer Shell: The outer shell is constructed from robust fiberglass layers, ensuring the long-term durability of both the insulation and the inner storage tank. The fiberglass layers are further protected with UV resistant white top coat.
Brass Bushes: Durable, high-quality brass bushes are used for secure pipe connections with the tank.
Convert your InsuTank into a large size Geyser
Integrating heating elements into the tank allows water to be heated up to 50°C using solar energy. The highly efficient built-in insulation ensures prolonged heat retention. Unlike conventional geysers, InsuTank offers a significantly larger water storage capacity. Additionally, a 1-inch extra layer of Glass Wool insulation is added to further enhance thermal efficiency for hot water storage.
